Appearance: Redkit has an air of excitement around her, even though she rarely shows it, her eyes are always bright and ready to learn, but her back is slightly deformed, forcing her to walk and run slower, and giving her a huge disadvantage in a fight
Eye color: Emerald
Fur color: Her base fur a color is a deep reddish brown
Any markings: Her stomach is a pale white with a yellow tinge, reaching to her paws. The tip of her tail is white like a fox, her back has a light blue-ish color to it, so does the fur around her nose, her forehead, and the tips of her ears. The most significant markings are the ones around her eyes, odd black spots the stretch from the inside corner to the outer
Scars: None
Personality: Likes: Her preferred meal is squirrel, sometimes thrush, she loves exploring (though is hindered by her crippled back), swimming, the warriors, the medicine cat
Dislikes: Fish is not her favorite, she hates going to the gathering, the stares she gets sometimes, jumping
Fears: Falling, ShadowClan, twolegs
Other: Redkit is very kind to her clanmates, and usually has an energetic aura surrounding her. Even though the other cats in her clan give her odd or harsh looks at times, she still treats them all with respect, and hardly seems affected by their rudeness. She hasn't been out to the borders yet, but she's heard stories of ShadowClan, making her scared of them. She will be quiet when told to do so, but always loves hearing stories and asking questions. She's made friends with the elders of the clan, and they her. She has no idea that she's actually from Shadowclan, believing she is RiverClan through and through.

History: Redkit was born in Newleaf to Foxfur of ShadowClan. She was born with her deformity, and payed harshly for it. For her mother was a very orthodox cat, who despised any form of weakness. And so when Redkit was barely one moon, Foxfur took her down to the stream in RiverClan territory, and was ready to drown her. But, at the last minute, she lost her ability to do as such. Instead, she left the mewling kit to die at the river.
But luck was with her, for a RiverClan cat found her, helpless beside the running water. She scented the ShadowClan, and knew at once where the kit belonged. But Redkit screamed and wailed when they tried to take her back, claiming that she would be drowned if she went home. So Silverclaw agreed to take the kit back to her camp, but first, she cleaned the ShadowClan stench from her fur.
She then padded into the RiverClan camp with Redkit, and told the leader immediately. The leader adamantly refused at first, claiming the disfigured kit would be a burden on the clan. But Silverclaw insisted, pleaded and begged, until finally, the RiverClan leader, knowing the kit would die without help, agreed. Her deformity was harsh, but couldn't be dealt with immediately. She needed moons of aid, but she couldn't go that long without a queen caring for her. So shew as sent to the nursery, and one of the RiverClan queens, Belltail, took her in. The grey she-cat had just had a litter, and had plenty of milk to spare. She grew up believing she was RiverClan, and no cat told her otherwise. To her, she had been born in the clan. She never stopped to suspect why she was older than her littermates
A few moons later, when Redkit was stronger and bigger, she was told she needed help from a medicine cat. And so Redkit went straight to the medicine cat's den, to see if anything could be done. The medicine cat gave her poppy seeds to ease the pain, for her deformity caused her a lot of pain along her spine, and a few herbs that could help. She had to spend 2 and a half moons in there, and by the end of it, was only halfway healed. Her back was still hunched, and nothing could be done about it. Redkit spent all of her time in the den, and soon became interested in the herbs and medicine. The medicine cat agreed to become her mentor when she was old enough, and Redkit couldn't be happier.
Of course, she had to give up her dream of being a warrior.
Sample RP segment: 9. A twoleg has come across your OC's territory and starts to chase your OC. Given your character's personality, compose a brief narrative in which your OC identifies and addresses the situation.
Redkit let out a mewl of terror as the twoleg trampled through the undergrowth. The little red kit was horrified, and on her first trip out of the camp! The twoleg was young, with short fur on its head and small stubby legs. But it still stumbled after Redkit, who let out another desperate wail. Her fur stood on end, and she was racing as fast as she could back to camp.
But then she realized that she couldn't go back, the twoleg would just follow her! She couldn't let it get to the camp! She suddenly switched directions, wincing from the pain that shot through her spine. She ignored it and continued on, tripping a few times due to her lack of control. But she was still far ahead of the twoleg kit, and Redkit paused for a moment's breath. Suddenly a call sounded through the forest, and the twoleg kit stopped. It looked up and ran towards the voice, and Redkit let out a relieved sigh.
Her heart thumping against her chest, she stood shakily and padded back to the camp. The twoleg's stench still lingered in the forest, and Redkit shivered. Pushing her way through the entrance, still quivering, she was surrounded by cats immediately. The medicine cat pushed his way through the mass to stand in front of her.
"What happened?" he demanded, looking at her with concern.
"A-a twoleg chased me!" Redkit squealed out, breathing quickly, "But I lead it away from camp until its master called for it!" The little brown kit sat up straighter, looking proud of herself.
"Wow!" Exclaimed Weedruff, one of the elders, "You ran from a twoleg with
thatback?" The white elder nosed Redkit's side, asking softly about how she was. Redkit mumbled a quick retort, that she was
fine, and that she could take care of herself. Weedruff let out a mrow of laughter, licking Redkit's ruffled fur. Redkit licked her own chest out of embarrassment, and the medicine cat quickly pushed her towards her den.
"Come on, let's see if you have any injuries."
Redkit grumbled in reply, but began to feel the sting of the scrapes that she earned running through ferns, and the cramps in her tiny muscles. She gratefully licked up the poppyseeds the medicine cat offered. Soon she was drifting off into sleep, the pain in her shoulder receding.
